About the Instructor
Dr. Slawsky recently completed a Ph.D. in music education at the
University of South Florida, which she completed in tandem with a M.A. in
library and information science. During her graduate studies she served as
post-graduate fellow at The New School for Music Study, the laboratory
setting for the Frances Clark Center for Keyboard Pedagogy, and adjunct
professor of piano and music theory at the University of Tampa and
International Academy of Design and Technology. Dr. Slawsky serves as
accompanist for Frienship Community Church in Sicklerville and
Scheduling Director for the Philadelphia International Music Festival. She
resides with her husband, young son, and 8 birds.
